Dr. Ray Adams is a distinguished local conductor, pianist, educator, and arts advocate with a lifelong commitment to music and the cultural community. He has conducted at Carnegie Hall and is the founding director of the Vero Beach Choral Society. Dr. Adams holds a Bachelor of Sacred Music from Wittenberg University and advanced degrees in music from the University of Iowa. He served as Artistic Director of Indian River Charter High School’s Visual and Performing Arts program and has held leadership roles with numerous local arts organizations. A recipient of the Virtuoso Award and the Cultural Council of Indian River County’s Professional Leadership Award, Dr. Adams continues to enrich the Vero Beach community through music, performance, and education.
